I just made the best pasta tonight – prawns, smoked salmon, chilli, garlic, parsley, lemon juice and olive oil. Absolutely superb served with Greek salad and loads of fresh chopped oregano, parsley, lemon juice and olive oil.
The joke was, I thought I would take a pic of the pasta for the blog. Got so excited when I plated it up that the pic was but a memory.
So my garden … at last the chillies made it into the dirt. Habanero, Jalapeño, Cayenne, Thai variety, all shoved into RB3 along with marigolds, geranium (they adore this plant) lemon bergamot, basil. Chillies like a humid environment – so close planting is the trick. No problem there for me!
The salad vege are looking really good, nearly time to haul out some of the beetroot. Love that mulch.
There are zucchinis growing nicely and no powdery mildew yet. Yay!
Love this poppy – self seeded and lively very happily in the garlic garden.
Garlic bulbils …
My gardens are looking super. We are watering every day already and this is spring, makes me wonder what summer is going to be like!
Happy gardening
lol Julie, I did that over the weekend too! Made a fabulous fennel and orange salad, took photos of the process, then ate it all before I took a picture of the actual finalised dish! oops 🙂
Ha ha ha, how bad is that Lisa. Good to know I’m not the only one. I couldn’t believe it when I saw the camera sitting the table and my dinner nearly finished!
