It is such a gorgeous autumn day .. the sun is shining, mild temps, butterflies flitting about in the garden, but trust me, winter was flexing its muscles last week. So, with this in mind I hauled out the flannelette sheets and scribbled buy dry firewood on the ‘To Do’ list. Waiting for their breakfast – …

Harvest and The Garden Share Collective
Well it’s harvest time – grapes that is and I’m down in Marlborough camera in hand in the ‘thick’ of it. Wonderful place to be, plucking sauvignon blanc grapes from the vines and munching away on the succulent berries as I dart amongst the greenery taking pics for Toi Toi. Perfect! It had been slimed! On viewing my raised chilli garden my jaw dropped there appeared to be some sort of vomit on the ground. …
Hot dry spring
I just made the best pasta tonight – prawns, smoked salmon, chilli, garlic, parsley, lemon juice and olive oil. Absolutely superb served with Greek salad and loads of fresh chopped oregano, parsley, lemon juice and olive oil. The joke was, I thought I would take a pic of the pasta for the blog. Got so …
